Switching profile

A fixed transcript snapshot with descriptive cache measurements of swaps.

The fixed interval [2026-08-28T00:00:00Z, 2026-09-09T17:00:00Z) contains 197,185 measured requests and 280 completed swaps. Snapshot SHA-256 is 2e85b8b916f07c3a46a324561c253823d1c580c3bc0cdc916bf7c6cecfb76258.

Pairs require an unchanged model, a positive timestamp gap within the stated limit, and at least 20,000 previous input tokens including reads and writes. A rewrite pattern means current cache reads are below half the previous input while current uncached input plus writes reach at least half that input.

These are unmatched descriptive counts with repeated sessions and shared swap events, and neither the rates nor their difference establish a causal effect. Prefix changes, compaction, concurrency, and cache expiry remain unmeasured explanations, and cache lifetime starts at request start and refreshes on reads, so response timing confounds even the 300-second stratum.

Selection ranks by session headroom per running session and then pace pressure, and does not read organization membership (see How switching decides), so this page carries no organization subgroups and no pricing-weighted contrasts. It makes no claim about subscription quota or savings.
